Stevan KojiĆ (1973, Kikinda) je diplomirao i magistrirao na Fakultetu likovnih umetnosti u Beogradu. Docent je na katedri za Nove likovne medije Akademije umetnosti u Novom Sadu. Izlagao je u: Japanu, Južnoj Koreji, Kanadi, Nemačkoj, Austriji, Francuskoj, Rumuniji, Sloveniji, Hrvatskoj i Srbiji. Njegova osnovna interesovanja se kreću u polju istraživanja interrelacija između umetnosti, društva, nauke i tehnologije kroz odnose: privatno/javno, urbano/emotivno, low-tech/ekologija, hi-tech/ekonomija itd.

Stevan Kojić (1973, Kikinda) has BA and MA degrees from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade. He is senior lecturer at the New Media Department of Art Academy in Novi Sad. He has exhibited in Japan, South Korea, Canada, Germany, Austria, France, Romania, Slovenia, Croatia and Serbia. His main interests ranges in field of researching relations between art, society, science and technology through relationships: private/public, urban/emotional, low-tech/ecology, hi-tech/economy etc..

Virtualna planina je kompjuterski generisan, 3D imaginarni pejzaž ali ona je na neki način predstava mogućeg realnog predela. Neki sadašnji pejzaži će u budućnosti neminovno postojati samo u formi digitalne baze podataka. Formalno gledano, sećanje na digitalni pejzaž, ima(će) istu vrednost kao sećanje na stvarni pejzaž. Njihova fizička - realno merljiva vrednost jednaka je jer iznosi istu količinu električnih impulsa i mozak ih kao takve ne razlikuje.

Virtual Mountain is computer generated, 3D imaginary landscape. But, it is, in a way, presentation of possible and real landscape. Some present landscapes, in the future, will inevitably exist merely via form of a digital database. Formally speaking, memory of a digital landscape has (will have) the same value as memory of a real landscape. Their physical - measurable, true value is equal because amounts the same quantity of electronic impulses, as such, the brain does not distinguish them.
