Ana Vujović  je rođena u Ivanjici 1979. Diplomirala je slikarstvo na Fakultetu likovnih umetnosti u Beogradu. Izlagala je grupno i samostalno, u zemlji i nostranstvu.                                                                                                                                                      Ana Vujovic was born in Ivanjica 1979, graduated painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade. Nexus 40 000 je deo jedne veće celine pod nazivom “Boja zvuka“ čija je ideja  prevashodno posvećena odnosima vizuelnih opažaja i njima odgovarajućih zvukova, tj. njihovim međusobnim preklapanjima i dopunjavanjima. Vezan je konkretno za sinesteziju, proces u kom se boje i oblici mogu čuti, namirisati, ili poprimiti ukus.  

Skulptura je nastala umnožavanjem jednog predmeta. Osnovna namera ovog rada fokusirana je na eksperimentisanje sa jednostavnim, svakodnevnim i pojedinačno ni po čemu neuobičajenim oblicima, poput obične plastične slamčice. Međutim, umnožavanjem osnovne materijalne jedinice dobijamo potpuno novu sliku, gde pojedinačno i prepoznatljivo prevazilazi svoju ustaljenu formu i funkciju, i stvorivši novi kontekst poprima nove osobine, nove funkcionalne karakteristike.

 

Nexus 40 000 is part of a bigger project called Color of Sound whose idea is primarily focused on the connection between visual reception and matching sounds, i.e. their mutual overlap and complement. Specifically, it is connected to synaesthesia, a process in which colors and shapes can be heard, smelled or tasted.

 

    

Sculpture was made by multiplication of one object. Basically, this piece is focused on experimenting with simple, everyday sounds and sounds that can individually be very common, such as a simple plastic straw. However, by multiplying the basic material unit we get a completely new image, in which individual and common exceeds its established form and function, and by creating a new context it gains new functional features.
