Behold, a miracle!

Joskin Siljan constructs his figurative dictionary of the invisible in the visible, audible in the inaudible.
Entrenched in the self-sufficiency of the universe, he weaves the most amazing narratives which remind us that
miracles are not only possible but necessary as well.

Therefore, with Mendeleev’s precision, in this artist’s figurative storytelling we come upon both Miro’s above water world
and Klee’s precision of dreams, Harring’s euphoric oppressiveness, Bosiljev’s epic poetry… until we come upon the planned
empty spaces for new resurrection.

For Joskin Siljan’s paintings, the frame is not enough. The walls seem inadequate as well and the space of the gallery is
too small. The entire known world isn’t sufficient either. His paintings breed paintings. They are fertile and alive, more alive
and more whole with each new painting. The heart is the only true measure, and as such the heart which immoderately
leaps out of the chest.
